The air conditioning system in our server room at my office went out and won't be fixed until after 5pm. So, I have the whole day off, until 5pm, then will be working the rest of the evening, which means I will miss class tonight. Who plans on being there AND can post to the board about what the lecture was and to have Bob email me the notes, if any? I hope to be able to respond to any answers, but won't be at work long and Charter is working on lines by my house so internet is up and down so don't expect a quick reply.

Please let me know if you can get notes from Bob and post a summary of the lecture. I'm outta here in about a half-hour so type quickly.

We talked about the same old stuff. No one had anything to turn in.  We are all having trouble.  Our Arguments, including the issue statements, are due tomorrow.  I probably will not have that done either, I am totally stuck.  I cannot write.  I just don't get this for some reason.  I know what to do, but I cannot apply it to this case.  There is just not enough information to go on.  I cannot fine relevant cases and I am stuck.

When you say same old stuff, do you mean the usual BS about nothing, or any substantive? 
I think I know what you mean. Does Bobby know what a hard time people are having? Do you think he cares?
I'm giving myself until Friday to get caught up on this before I start considering other options.
Maybe if enough get behind we'll have a mutiny. I don't think we've been given enough information and feedback on the stuff we've already done.
Has Bob given any kind of indication?

Yea, just the usual BS and asking if we are having trouble and we told him we were and he tried to lead us in a direction but I did not find it helpful.  He talked about whether any of us had researched the standard of review???  Who cares about that if we can't even find anything to review in the first place. 

He just kept asking what kind of things we were particularly having trouble with.  Didn't get much out of class.  I was working through class trying to get something down on the computer while we were in there so I could come up with a question to even ask to lead me in some direction.  No help.  I've foudn that the last few weeks of class have been a total waste of time.  Better served actually working on the paper and then asking, "does this apply . . . " if I run into something at the time.  If you know what I mean.

No additional helpful information was provided.  Bobby was more pissed at me because I gave my notice at armstrong to go back to my old firm that day.

So you're leaving the ivory tower to go back to tobacco road? I guess prestige and appearances aren't all they're cracked up to be?
I've heard things about AT that were not flattering. When I was a private eye I did some work for them and they were slow pay and the attorney who contracted with me was a retard, but that was par for the course in my line of work.
Good luck with the switch back. That's cool when an ex-employer will take you back. Guess you're not a bridge burner, eh? 
I started a new shift and have 3 days off in a row during the week that I'm hoping will get me caught up. Nobody at home, few distractions and nothing but me and Westlaw.
I'm working on all of the fancy stuff with the formatting of this thing with Word and the table of authorities and other things. When I get it down, I'm saving it as a template or something. I don't want to go through this again!
BTW, which firm were you with anyway?
